Jean Menges is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist, an Independently Licensed BioGeometry Environmental Home Solutions Practitioner, and an Advanced Certified and PaRama BodyTalk Practitioner.
Jean is a seasoned healthcare provider with an extensive science and alternative medicine background, specializing in pain management, allergies and intolerance, autoimmune conditions, women’s health, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS).
Most of Jean’s clients are open minded and motivated to heal on many levels. They seek her for in-person and remote healing services in order to have an integrative and wholistic perspective to healing: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, nutritional, and environmental. Jean’s training and experiences in various fields of conventional and alternative therapies allow her to support and coach her clients through their healthcare needs.
Jean holds Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Medical Technology from Case Western Reserve University and Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University. Prior to practicing in alternative medicine, Jean was a research assistant at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, performing molecular genetic research on hospital superbug infections. She is a graduate of the Food Therapy program at the Natural Gourmet Institute of Health and Healing.
In addition to her healthcare practice, Jean is a teaching assistant for BioGeomety student and practitioner training in New York City and provides education about BioGeometry products for the general public. Jean will travel for BioGeometry Environmental Home Solutions projects in the Tri-States, Ohio, and New Mexico. She is also training to become a Certified Mastery Coach for personal and business development.
As a mother of two teenagers, Jean enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, camping, biking, scuba diving, and traveling the world with her kids.
Every time I think about how to describe Jean Menges as a healer, I have another treatment, and I have to rethink, completely, how I would put this into words. I can say that there’s a sense of floating and being transported, and of powerful energetic currents, a sense of peace, and then a feeling of real purpose–and that’s from telemedicine remote acupuncture!
Jean’s work is like poetry–easy, but not in the sense of lightness–while some healers take you to places of discomfort, even when you’re in a difficult place, Jean will make you laugh–always–and it’s never quite predictable how. Sometimes, in acupuncture sessions, I’ve felt like I was literally traveling through space and time–other times, I’ve had this instant of clarity, where things I was struggling with became clear. All the while, Jean is one of the most profound guides I’ve ever encountered in life. She completely emanates healing light and radiance; almost like a living source of natural grounding–it’s as if she embodies something like the spiritual energy of a peaceful meadow, or a waterfall; but then, in such a human, friendly, down to earth way. If you get the chance to work with Jean, you will feel incredibly lucky. Sometimes, I almost don’t want to tell people about her, she’s that good. But I think right now, especially, we all need this work more than ever, so I am going to share my favorite healer with the rest of you.
